Rev. Ed is a Pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, serving Trinity Lutheran Church in Moville, IA. He serves on Western Iowa Synod of the ELCA Candidacy Committee.

Edward graduated from Wartburg College with a BA in religion. Edward then attended Candler School of Theology — Emory University, earning a Master’s of Theological Studies.

Edward worked with men and women with intellectual, emotional, physical, and mental disabilities for 12 years as a Direct Support Professional, Community Living Supervisor, and as a Service Coordinator.

In 2019, he entered seminary, attending Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, IA. Edward was a collaborative student, serving as a Synod Authorized Minister while attending classes remotely.

In 2024, he graduated with an Masters of Divinity and was called to Trinity Lutheran Church, Moville, IA (Western Iowa Synod ELCA).

He lives in Moville with his wife and goldendoodle “Skye.”
